Families, friends and couples visiting Maribor can swap a standard sightseeing walk for a treasure hunt, tracking down ten crowns and a Rajzefiber treasure while hearing the folklore of the region from local storytellers. The loop covers 2.2 km in around 90 minutes and finishes where it began. If you want a live guide to quiz on dates and facts, or a tour that stays indoors, choose something else.

Where does the crown hunt start and finish?
The route begins at the point the app calls the Start of the Crown hunt and loops back to that same spot after the last crown. That makes it easy to plan your day, because you finish where you started without needing transport back.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk about 2.2 km through Maribor, collecting ten crowns and a Rajzefiber treasure along the way. You can go at your own pace and pause between stops, so the total time can stretch if you take breaks.
Is it a good choice for children?
It is built as a playful treasure hunt with local folklore and a puzzle at each stop, which suits families who enjoy solving things together. Children need to manage a 2.2 km walk over about an hour and a half, with help from an adult on the puzzles.
