L’esperienza
Informazioni su questa esperienza
Please only play if you like solving hard puzzles! This game is like a difficulty escape room game.
In this adventure full of riddles and mystery, you will visit the significant sites of Munich, blended in with an immersive story. You will unravel the secret of your long-lost friend, but also the hidden heroes forgotten by history.
The puzzles range from normal to difficult. I recommend this game only to players who love challenging puzzles, and not to anyone looking for a city walking tour.
Fa per voi?
Per chi è
Escape-room fans, couples and small squads who like being properly stumped get about two and a quarter hours of normal-to-difficult riddles over 3 km, from the Mariensäule past the Residenz and the Bavarian State Library to the Siegestor, tied to the story of a long-lost friend. If you want an easygoing sightseeing walk or are bringing young children, these advanced puzzles will frustrate more than delight.

Domande frequenti
What is the secret society game in Munich?
It is a self-guided outdoor puzzle quest played on your phone. A story about a long-lost friend and heroes forgotten by history leads you through ten stops in central Munich, and at each one you solve a riddle hidden in what is in front of you, much like an escape room.
How hard are the puzzles on this Munich quest?
It is rated advanced. The puzzles range from normal to difficult, and the game is recommended only for players who love challenging riddles. If you mainly want a city walking tour with light clues, a gentler quest will suit you better.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Mariensäule and finishes at the Siegestor, so it does not return to the start. On the way you pass St. Peter, Alter Hof, the Residenz Museum, the Dianatempel, the Berlin Wall monument, the Historisches Kolleg, the Bavarian State Library and Geschwister-Scholl-Platz, about 3 km in total.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take about two and a quarter hours, walking and puzzles included. You can pause and continue later. Charge your phone fully or bring a power bank, and on sunny days take a hat, sunscreen and enough water, since the whole route is outdoors.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, it works well as a squad challenge, and one ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no set time slot and no guide to meet: you start whenever you are ready at the Mariensäule and play at your own pace.
