You are a soldier from the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, 1759. You think you survived. You need to find General Montcalm, deliver a letter, and save the city of Québec.
Follow the clues through the fortifications, cathedrals, and cobblestoned courtyards of one of North America's most storied cities: a UNESCO World Heritage site where 400 years of history live in every stone.
But something about this city feels different. The streets are quiet. The people don't seem to see you. And the letter in your pocket grows older with every step.

Is this a walking tour app for Quebec City?
It is a self-guided walk played on your phone. The app leads you from place to place through Old Quebec, tells the story of each stop and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so you start whenever you like.
Does the route go to Place Royale?
Yes. Place Royale is the final stop. You reach it after the Monument Samuel-De Champlain, the Monument Jean-Paul Lemieux and the Quebec City Mural, at the end of a 1.7 km walk that begins at Fontaine de Tourny and runs from the Upper Town down to the Lower Town.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Fontaine de Tourny and finishes at Place Royale, so it is a one-way route rather than a loop. On the way you pass Porte Saint-Louis, the Cannonball Tree, Chapelle des Ursulines, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Place de l'Hôtel de Ville and the Petit Séminaire courtyard.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take about two hours for the 1.7 km route, walking and puzzles included. You can start at any time without booking a slot, and you can pause the game and continue later, for example to stop for a coffee in the Old Town.
Can we play as a group, and could construction affect the route?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together. Note that some checkpoints may have temporary construction work nearby, and parts of the route can be affected by ongoing works, so allow a little extra time if you need to step around them.
