Where does the Golden Gate Park escape walk start and finish?
It starts at the Cervantes Monument and finishes at the Japanese Tea Garden, so it is not a loop. Along the way you pass the WWI Memorial, Rose Garden, Giuseppe Verdi statue, Shakespeare Garden, National AIDS Memorial Grove, Juniper Serra Monument, de Young Museum and the Giant Safety Pin.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about an hour and 45 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers 3.9 km through Golden Gate Park and links ten stops with a story about a fugitive who has just broken out of Alcatraz in 1962.
