Step into Sinaia in 1913 and discover the world of the Romanian Royal Family.
Your journey begins with a mysterious traveller’s notebook and an invitation to a reception at Peleș Castle. Follow its pages through Sinaia, solve challenges and uncover the stories hidden across the Royal Domain until you finally reach the doors of Peleș yourself.
Note: Most of the route is uphill, with some stops ~15 minutes apart. Wear comfortable shoes, enjoy the scenery, check Google Maps for walking directions.

Couples and families arriving by train from Bucharest or Brașov can turn the uphill walk from the Royal Train Station to Peleș Castle into a story of the Romanian royal family in 1913, with easy puzzles at Sinaia Monastery, the Casino and Pelișor Castle. If nearly two hours and 3.8 km of mostly uphill walking sounds like too much, or you want a guide to answer questions, pick something else.
