Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Where do I get the app to play this detective game?
The game is played on your phone through the app. Once you have the quest, the app leads you from place to place, tells the story at each stop and sets the puzzles. You start at the first point, marked LBC in the app, whenever your group is ready.
How far do you walk during the game?
The route covers about 2.1 km on foot, all outdoors. The distance is spread across the game, with stops along the way where you read the story, look around and solve puzzles, so it feels more like a stroll between clues than a long hike.
How long does the 2.1 km route take?
Allow around 90 minutes from the starting point to the final reveal. That includes the walking plus the time spent decoding clues and following the whistleblower's story. You can pause and continue later, so you can also stretch it out with a coffee break.
Is it a good idea for a date?
Yes, couples are one of the groups it suits. You work together to uncover a secret society's plot, solving puzzles side by side while walking around Akron for about an hour and a half, with no guide or other players around you.
Do we need to book a time, and can the whole group play together?
There is no time slot to book. Start any time, pause when you need to and pick it up again later. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends or family can follow the case together.
