Bella, a famous travel blogger, was found dead during a ghost tour led by the theatrical Percy Shadows. Now, it’s up to you to uncover the truth.
Was it Walter, the obsessed boyfriend? Percy, the ghost tour guide with a flair for the dramatic? Or is someone else hiding in the shadows?
🔎 Gather clues, interrogate suspects, and expose the real murderer before they strike again. Make sure to have your pen and paper ready to jot down all the crucial evidence.

Voor wie het is
Over about 90 minutes and 1.8 km in Appleton, you work out who killed travel blogger Bella Wanderlust on a ghost tour, questioning her boyfriend Walter and the theatrical guide Percy Shadows. Friends who prefer solving a case outdoors to a dinner party mystery will enjoy it, as will pairs after an evening plan. If you want live actors, or a story without a death, choose another outing.

Veelgestelde vragen
Is there a murder mystery game we can play ourselves in Appleton?
Yes. This is a self-guided murder mystery played on your phone as you walk through Appleton. You gather clues, interrogate suspects and decide whether Walter the boyfriend, Percy the ghost tour guide or someone else is behind Bella's death. You can start whenever you like.
How is this different from an escape room in Appleton?
Instead of a locked indoor room, you solve the case outdoors, walking about 1.8 km between real places in the city. The app tells the story of each spot and sets puzzles in what is in front of you. There is no time slot to book and you can pause and carry on later.
Is this like a murder mystery dinner?
The idea is similar, a death to solve and suspects to question, but there are no actors or set seating. Your group does the investigating itself, on your own phones, as you walk through Appleton at a time you pick. It takes around 90 minutes.
How long does it take, and can we take a break?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk the 1.8 km route and solve the case. You can pause at any point, stop for a coffee or a meal, and continue later from where you left off.
Can we play as a group, and is it suitable for kids?
Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, and each person can follow along on their own phone. The story centres on a murder, so it suits teens and older children better than young kids.
