What is there to see in downtown Atlanta on this walk?
The route loops from Pemberton Place through downtown and Centennial Olympic Park, passing the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, the College Football Hall of Fame, the Fountain of Rings and the Quilt of Origins. At each stop the app tells the story of the place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you.
Does the route pass the Olympic rings?
Yes. The Fountain of Rings is one of the stops, on a route that takes in Centennial Olympic Park. It comes near the end of the walk, shortly before the Quilt of Origins and the return to Pemberton Place.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
You start at Pemberton Place and finish back there, so it works well if you are visiting the attractions nearby. The loop covers about 2 km and takes about an hour of walking and puzzle solving. You can pause and continue later if you want to stop for food.
Is it suitable for children?
It suits families with older children who enjoy working out clues from buildings and landmarks around them. Children under 12 should be guided by their parents through the puzzles and the walk. The places on the route are not entered, so everything happens outdoors on the street.
