Veelgestelde vragen
What time can we play, and do we need to book a slot?
There is no booking slot and no group to join. You start whenever you like, on your own phone, and the app guides you from stop to stop. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, so friends or a couple can share a single game.
Does the route stay in Catania's historic centre?
Yes. It starts at Piazza Università and winds through the old town past Palazzo Manganelli, the Statue of Vincenzo Bellini and Chiesa di San Benedetto, before finishing at the Fountain of the Elephant. The route is a loop, so you end up close to where you began.
Is this a good spooky thing to do in Catania?
If you enjoy ghost stories, it is a strong option. The plot has you racing to stop evil spirits raised by a dark wizard, while audio stories tell the dark past of each place and you decipher codes to solve the main puzzle, all without booking a guided ghost tour.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take a little over two hours, including walking and puzzles, to cover about 2.7 km and 13 stops. You can pause at any point, stop for a drink or a meal, and continue the game later from where you left off.
