Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Is there an escape game you can play around downtown Detroit?
Yes. This is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone in downtown Detroit. Clues lead you to each new location, including One Campus Martius, The Hudson Cafe and Himelhoch's, and the puzzles are set in what is in front of you. Oz-themed original songs play along the way in the app.
Where does the game start and how long does it take?
You start on the south side of Campus Martius Park and the route loops back to the same spot, so you finish where you began. The walk is about 1.9 km across 12 stops and takes around 90 minutes, depending on how quickly your team cracks the puzzles.
Can we play as a group, or does everyone need a ticket?
One ticket covers your whole group, so friends, couples and families can team up and solve the witch's puzzles together. If you prefer to go it alone, you can play solo and compare your result with other players on the leaderboard.
Do we need to book a time slot?
No. There is no set start time, no group to join and no guide to meet. You open the app when you are ready at Campus Martius Park and begin, whether that is a weekday morning or a weekend evening.
Is it all outdoors, and can we pause if the weather turns?
The game is played entirely outdoors on downtown streets, so dress for the weather. You can pause at any point and continue later, which lets you stop for a break, a meal or a rain shower and pick up the story where you left off.
