You are Barnaby Brie, a small mouse with big dreams, and you enter the race to win the Infinite Gouda - a prize large enough to feed your starving village for generations.
But the villainous Gorgonzola Gang is rigging the cliffs with traps to ensure you fail.
Can you fool them?

Voor wie het is
Families with children of about 6 to 12 will enjoy helping a small mouse called Barnaby Brie outwit the Gorgonzola Gang on an easy, story-led walk through Gouda's old centre, from 't Slot past the Stadhuis to the Gouda Cheese Experience. Veelgestelde vragen
Is this cheese rolling race a game you play on your phone?
Yes. It is a self-guided walk through Gouda played on your phone. The app leads you from place to place, tells the story of Barnaby Brie racing for the Infinite Gouda, and sets puzzles you solve using what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join.
How long is the route, and where does it start and finish?
The route is 2.8 km. It starts at 't Slot and finishes at the Gouda Cheese Experience, so it does not return to the start. Along the way you pass Museum Harbour, De Gouwekerk, Museum Gouda, the Stadhuis van Gouda and Turfmarkt. Most players take just under two hours, puzzles included.
Is it suitable for kids, and what age?
It is rated easy and family friendly, with a playful story about a mouse outwitting the Gorgonzola Gang. It suits children of about 6 to 12 best, who can help solve the real-world puzzles. Keep in mind the walk is 2.8 km and takes close to two hours.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the walk. There is no set start time to book: begin whenever you like, and you can pause and continue later if the children need a break.
When is the best time to play?
The route is outdoors and open 24/7, but it is better during daylight hours, when the places and puzzle clues along the way through Gouda's old centre are easier to see.
