Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at Eminonu Pier Kadikoy and finishes at the Aşık Veysel statue (Aşık Veysel Heykeli), so it is not a loop. In between you pass the Egyptian Bazaar, Büyük Valide Han, the Grand Bazaar, the Column of Constantine, the German Fountain, the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia and the School of Mr. Jafer.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Most players take just over two hours, around 130 minutes including walking and solving the puzzles. The route covers about 3.3 km through the old city, so plan for a long half-day if you want to linger at the bazaars or stop for food along the way.
When can we play it?
The game is playable between 9am and 6pm every day except Mondays and holidays, and it is not recommended at night. To avoid the biggest crowds, play on a weekday during working hours. Some checkpoints may have temporary construction work that affects the route.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route, so friends, couples or a small family can follow the story and solve the clues side by side as they walk from the pier to the finish.
What if it gets cold or we need a break?
You can pause the game and continue later. If the weather turns cold, you can step inside to warm up at almost any location on the route, then pick the story back up where you left off.
