Over deze quest
To help Euric get to the royal tournament you need to unlock the route of the procession, and stop at special points along the way. Getting to the last chapter you find out why it’s so important, how and where they played the game, what the special prize is and who Euric is.
With each step you discover something interesting about each place; like why grown men shot at a wooden parrot, a little city trivia and what’s so special about Euric’s bow, but be careful, you’re being pursued.

Veelgestelde vragen
What will we see in Montpellier on this quest?
The route links the squares and streets of the old town in this order: Place de La Canourgue, Place Castellane, Place du Marché aux Fleurs, Rue de l'aiguillerie, Place Jean Jaurés, Place Saint Come, Place Molière, Place de la Comedie and the Tourist Office, ending at the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle. Each stop has its story and a puzzle.
Where does the quest start and finish?
You start at Place de La Canourgue and finish at the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle, so it is not a loop. The walk covers about 2 km through the old town, passing Place de la Comedie and the Tourist Office just before the final stop.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take a little over an hour and a half, walking and puzzles included. You can start whenever you like, pause at any point and carry on later. If you want to see the holiday lights along the way, going after dark is better.
Is it good for kids?
Yes, it is recommended for families. Children old enough to enjoy solving puzzles with you, roughly school age, will like helping Euric reach the royal tournament, discovering the old parrot-shooting archery game and the twist that someone is pursuing you along the route.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together on a phone. There is no group to join and no guide, so there is no time slot to book. You simply open the app at Place de La Canourgue and start when you are ready.
