Veelgestelde vragen
What is the Ben Franklin game in Philadelphia?
It is a self-guided murder mystery played on your phone. A body has been found, and with Ben Franklin leading the investigation you chat with 18th century leaders, gather clues at places such as Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, and work out which of the Founding Fathers committed the crime.
Where does the murder mystery start and finish?
It starts at LOVE Park and finishes at the Betsy Ross House in Old City, so it is not a loop. In between you pass City Hall, the Masonic Temple, Reading Terminal Market, the Declaration House, the President's House, the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and Franklin's house and printing office.
How long does it take?
Most players take about two hours, walking and puzzles included, and cover roughly 3.5 km. You can pause and continue later, so a break for food at Reading Terminal Market or a longer look around Independence Hall will not cost you your progress.
Can we play it today without booking a time?
Yes. There is no set start time and no group to join, so you can begin at LOVE Park whenever you are ready. No attraction tickets are required to play, because the clues are solved from what you see at each stop along the route.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. It works well for groups of friends and families with older kids who want to compare suspects, argue over clues and settle together on who the killer is by the time they reach the Betsy Ross House.
