Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Is this a mystery game I can play outdoors in San Jose?
Yes. It is a self-guided detective game played on your phone as you walk the city. The story has you exposing The Kingmakers, a secret society said to have steered world leaders for centuries, by decoding secrets and solving puzzles set in what is around you.
Do I need to book a time slot, like an escape room?
No. There is no booked session or group departure. You start whenever suits you, and you can pause the game and continue later, so it fits around a spare afternoon or a weekend plan rather than a fixed slot.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes, covering about 2.2 km on foot. Because you can pause and pick up where you left off, you can stop for a break along the way without losing your progress in the investigation.
Where does the game start?
The game begins at its first point, listed as LBC. Once you are there, the app leads you from place to place, tells the story of each spot and sets the next puzzle, so you do not need a map or a guide.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated at purchase. It works well for friends, couples and families with teens who want to solve the conspiracy together and compare theories as they walk.
