Veelgestelde vragen
Can we do this in Traverse City today without booking a time?
Yes. There is no set slot and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever suits you, including the same day. You play on your phone, and if plans change midway you can pause and continue later.
Where does the detective game start and how far is the walk?
The game begins at Point 1 - LBC in Traverse City. From there the app leads you on foot, and the whole route covers about 2.1 km, with the story and puzzles set in what you see along the way.
How long does it take to solve the mystery?
Plan on around 90 minutes, depending on how quickly your team cracks the codes and how often you stop. You are free to pause at any point and pick the story up again later.
Is it suitable for kids?
It is aimed at adults and families with teens. The plot follows a whistleblower and a conspiracy, and the puzzles ask you to decode secrets, so teenagers who like mysteries tend to enjoy it more than young children would.
Is the game outdoors, and what if it rains?
Yes, it is a self-guided walk through the streets, so you will be outside for most of it. If the weather turns, you can pause the game and continue the investigation later when it clears.
