The quest is played outdoors, on the Grand-Place and the streets around it. If the weather turns cold, you can pause and step inside to warm up at almost any location on the route, then continue the game when you are ready.
Is this a sightseeing tour played on an app?
Yes. It is a self-guided walk played on your phone. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, and you can start any time.
Does the route pass Manneken Pis?
Yes. Manneken Pis is one of the stops, reached after the Grand-Place houses and Le Cygne. The route then continues to the Palace, the Black Tower and Saint John the Baptist at the Béguinage.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
You start at Les Galeries Royals Saint-Hubert and finish at Rue de la Cigogne, so it does not end where it began. The walk covers 2.4 km, and most players take a little over two hours, puzzles included. Playing at night is not recommended.
Can we play as a group and take breaks?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together, and you can pause the game at any point and continue later. Note that some checkpoints may have temporary construction work nearby.
