Passt das zu euch?
Für wen es ist
First-time visitors to Granada can walk Sacromonte at their own pace, taking in cave dwellings, the Cave Museum and Alhambra views from the miradors in under two hours. It suits couples and friends filling the day before a zambra show, and anyone happy with simple challenges rather than a story. The 2.4 km climbs uneven lanes to the Abbey, so those with limited mobility should choose a flatter route.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
What is there to see in Sacromonte, Granada?
In walking order, the route takes in the 11th-century Puente del Aljibillo, the Mirador Sacromonte, Fuente de la Amapola, the Mirador de la Vereda (Mario Maya), the Cave Museum, the inhabited caves, another lookout point, the House of the Sevillana, the Hermitage of Saint Sepulcro and finally Sacromonte Abbey, with views of Granada and the Alhambra along the way.
What can you do in Sacromonte?
Explore the neighbourhood on foot with your phone as a guide. The app leads you between cave dwellings, cobblestone streets and viewpoints, tells the story of each place and its flamenco and Gitano heritage, and sets simple challenges based on what is in front of you. There is no game narrative, just the neighbourhood itself.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at the fountain on Paseo de los Tristes and finishes up the hill at Sacromonte Abbey. The route does not return to the start, so plan your way back down from the Abbey once you are done.
How long does it take, and is it a hard walk?
Most players take about 100 minutes, walking and challenges included, over 2.4 km. Expect varied terrain and changes in elevation as the route climbs through Sacromonte, so it may not suit people with limited mobility. The route is open around the clock, but it is better during daylight hours.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route. There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet: start whenever you like, pause when you want a break, and continue later from where you stopped.
