La experiencia

Sobre esta experiencia

The year is 1934. Berlin is one year into Nazi rule, and a Jewish family needs your help.

As the American-born child of German immigrants, you've been sent to find Alfred Blum, a young man in hiding, and get him out of the country. To do it, you'll need to navigate a chain of underground contacts through the city's most historic districts: the old Jewish clothing quarter at Hausvogteiplatz, the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche, Humboldt University, Museum Island, and the Oranienburger Strasse.

Solve coded puzzles, follow hidden clues, and piece together a network of strangers who are each risking something to help one person escape. This is Berlin's most historically grounded walking game, part self-guided city tour, part outdoor escape room, entirely immersive.

The city is watching. Move carefully.

¿Es para ti?

Para quién es

History-minded visitors, couples and friends curious about Jewish life under the Nazis get a story to solve rather than a lecture: in 1934 Berlin you follow underground contacts past Friedrichswerdersche Kirche, Humboldt University and Museum Island to help a young man escape, over about 2.5 km and 90 minutes. If you want a live guide to question, or a lighter subject for young children, pick another route.

Preguntas frecuentes

Who is Alfred Blum in this Berlin quest?
Alfred Blum is the young Jewish man at the heart of the story. In 1934, one year into Nazi rule, he is in hiding, and you play the American-born child of German immigrants sent to find him and get him out of the country through a chain of underground contacts.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Am Bullenwinkel and finishes at the Post Office, so it is not a loop. In between you pass Taubenstraße 20-22, Friedrichswerdersche Kirche, the Prussian Generals on Oberwallstraße, Humboldt University at Bebelplatz, an office building, the Bode Museum, Monbijou Park and Oranienburger Str. 67.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Most players take around 90 minutes, including walking, the stories at each stop and the puzzles. The route covers about 2.5 km through the historic centre, from the old clothing quarter near Hausvogteiplatz up to Museum Island and Oranienburger Straße.
Can we play as a group?
Yes. One ticket covers the whole group playing together on the route, so friends or family can follow the story and work through the puzzles side by side, sharing what they spot at each stop along the way.
Do we need to book a time, and can we pause?
No booking or fixed time is needed. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, so you start whenever you like from Am Bullenwinkel. You can also pause partway through, stop for a break, and continue the story later.
What’s the deal with this quest?

You follow the Blum family’s story: they’re Jewish in Nazi-Berlin and things are getting dangerous. You solve clues, sneak through streets, try to help them survive. It’s intense, emotional, but also powerful and meaningful.

Is this good for a date?

Yes—if you want something more than dinner. This has weight, emotion, shared moments that stick with you. Walking together, solving, remembering—it can be really special.

What spots in Berlin will we see?

You’ll pass important historical landmarks (Mitte area), possibly places tied to Jewish history, reminders of WWII, plus streets that show both beauty and scars—lesser-known corners that make the story real.
