Ideal for families or couples wanting to explore Dublin.

Where does the Dublin time travel quest start and finish?
It starts at St Patrick's Park and finishes at The Shelbourne Hotel, so it is not a loop. On the way you pass St Patrick's Cathedral, Marsh's Library, Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, Bewley's Oriental Café and St Stephen's Green, ending by the Famine Memorial.
How long does the quest take and how far is the walk?
Most players take about two hours, walking and puzzles included. The route covers 3.2 km on foot through the city centre. You can pause along the way and continue later, so a stop at Bewley's or on St Stephen's Green is easy to fit in.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. It is rated easy and family friendly, with puzzles solved by looking at the real places around you. It suits school-age children who can follow clues and walk about 3.2 km over roughly two hours. Younger children may need help and a few breaks.
Do we need to book a time or pay to play?
No booking is needed and the quest is free to play. You start whenever you like on your phone, with no group to join and no guide to meet, and friends or family can play it together as one team.
Is the quest outdoors, and what if it rains?
The route is an outdoor walk through Dublin's streets, parks and squares, from St Patrick's Park to St Stephen's Green. Bring a raincoat in wet weather. Because you can pause and continue later, you can shelter for a while and pick up the story again afterwards.
