You've just stolen Edward Hopper's Nighthawks from the Art Institute of Chicago. Now you have to disappear into the city before anyone notices.
This self-guided walking tour of Eastside Chicago takes you through Millennium Park, past Cloud Gate, Crown Fountain, Pritzker Pavilion, and Buckingham Fountain, as you try to blend in as an ordinary tourist while making a very illegal hand-off.

It is a self-guided walking game played on your phone. The story begins with you having just stolen Edward Hopper's Nighthawks from the Art Institute of Chicago. You then try to blend in as an ordinary tourist through Millennium Park and Grant Park while making a secret hand-off, solving puzzles at each stop.
Is this a museum scavenger hunt inside the Art Institute?
No. The game uses the Art Institute as its story setting and starting point, but you do not enter any of the places. Everything is played outdoors, with puzzles built around the sculptures, fountains, gardens and architecture you pass along the route.
Where does it start and finish, and how long does it take?
The route starts at the Art Institute of Chicago and loops round to finish at the Fountain of the Great Lakes, back near where you began. It covers 3.4 km past stops such as Cloud Gate, the BP Pedestrian Bridge and Buckingham Fountain. Most players take a little over two hours, puzzles included.
Is it suitable for kids?
It works best for older children and teens who enjoy puzzles. Children under 12 can play but should be guided by their parents, since the clues and the heist story are pitched at a level where younger players will need help, and the walk runs a little over two hours.

Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no time slot to book and no guide to meet, so you can start whenever suits you. You can also pause the game, take a break, and continue later from where you stopped.
