Where does the Calgary treasure hunt go?
It starts and finishes at Jack Long Park near Inglewood Child Development Centre, as a 2.4 km loop. Along the way you pass the Mountie Statue at Fort Calgary, The Circle of Life Sculpture, Ironwood Stage & Grill, Jam's Diner and the Inglewood Bed and Breakfast before returning to the park.
Is this like an escape room in Inglewood?
It shares the puzzle solving, but it is played outdoors on your phone. The app guides you from place to place, tells the story of each spot and sets puzzles in what is in front of you, as you work out who took the Golden Shamrock.
How long does it take?
Most players take around 90 minutes for the 2.4 km route, walking and puzzles included. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no need to finish in one go.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together. There is no time slot to book and no guide or other group to join, so you can start whenever suits you.
Is it outdoors, and what if it rains?
