Een paar antwoorden voor vertrek
Veelgestelde vragen
Is this like an escape room in Calgary?
It uses the same kind of code-breaking and deduction, but outdoors. Instead of a locked room, you walk a 2.3 km route from Mills Park and solve puzzles using what is in front of you at each stop. There is no time slot to book, so you can start whenever your group is ready.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts at Mills Park and loops back there at the end. Along the way the route passes Kingdom Life Victory Church, the Esker Foundation, the Alexandra Centre Society and The Collectors' Gallery of Art, so you finish where you began.
How long does it take, and can we take a break?
Plan on around 90 minutes to walk the 2.3 km route and solve the puzzles, depending on how quickly you crack the codes. You can pause at any point, stop for a coffee, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for children?
The story about a secret society manipulating world leaders and the code-breaking puzzles are aimed at adults and teenagers, and families with teens are a good fit. Younger children may find the conspiracy plot and the decoding harder to follow without plenty of help.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated for the quest, and you play together on your phones. There is no group to join and no guide to meet, so you choose the day and start time yourselves.
